Grassor Pillar Posts
Posted: 05/11/2012 Filed under: Hand Crafted Goods, Luxury | Tags: Grassor-c, luxury abstract, pillar posts Leave a comment »Since we debuted our Admiror pillars, they have been a big hit. We have made a few different styles to compliment some of our wheels and give customers many options in personalizing their vehicles.
Our Grassor pillars were done in the same style as the wheel. The solid outers can be done in a different color than the mid section. The four diamonds were inspired by the Grassor-C in 20.” The pillars accentuate the look of the car when matched with the wheels. These are only available for sedans. Coupe owners, look into our Solis pillars for a similar style.

New York Auto Show April 6th-12th
Posted: 04/04/2012 Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: fisker atlantic, new york auto show Leave a comment »April is an exciting month for car enthusiasts. The New York International Auto Show debuts many new vehicles and concept models that will give us a glimpse of what is ahead. We were originally going to have a booth but a couple of our projects were delayed. This does not mean we will not be there covering the event. The show is a week-long from April 6th-12th at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
One of the booths I plan to spend lots of time at is Fisker. This new company has blown our minds since we seen the Karma in person. They plan to debut multiple new cars at the event including the Atlantic. Judging by the images posted online, it seems like it will live up to the hype. Check out some preview pics
Who else feels that it would be better with some Luxury Abstract wheels? The beautiful curves of the car would be at home with designs from the Abstract line such as the Stella. Read the rest of this entry »

350Z on Grassor-C’s
Posted: 03/17/2012 Filed under: Builds | Tags: 350z, Grassor-c Leave a comment »Our wheels are created with luxury sedans and coupe’s in mind. That is not to say they can’t work well on other types of cars. It is always refreshing to get our products on a different type of vehicle. This time around we got a set out to Vermont on Mikey’s 350z.
When Mikey ordered his wheels, he did so with the intention of doing body work onto the rear quarter panels to be able to fit a larger outer barrel. He also wanted to have a unique color combo that would compliment his Z.
His previous set of wheels were black-faced but he felt that this set should have some white in it to bring out the details that often get lost on dark wheels. The task was to come up with a scheme that included enough white without becoming overkill. When we created the Grassor-C, we placed many lines and edges that could be used to give customers more options when it comes to customization. We chose to just color the inserts and leave the sides of the spokes, spokes, and register black. The inserts were factory matched to his pearl white shade which makes our quilted engraving pop.
Thanks Dreamakers Kustoms for the paint. Read the rest of this entry »

Hybrid Series: Solis
Posted: 02/27/2012 Filed under: Hybrid Series Leave a comment »New for 2012 is the introduction of the Hybrid series. The Luxury Abstract Hybrids combine design cues from different wheels to create an offspring. The parents are carefully selected from both our main lines (Luxury, Abstract).
With the Solis, we chose to take the silhouette of our split 5 spoke the Stella (Abstract) and give it the cross or quilted pattern* found in the Grassor (Luxury). We made the wheel a solid five by adding an inner portion between the spokes which is sunken in lower than the edges. This part of the wheel was extended from the edge of the spoke all the way to center of the wheel with no breaks or dips like an inner skin to the split spokes. Lots of unique color schemes can come from this wheel since the spokes, inner skin and quilted engraving, can each be a different color/finish. We also added some more details to the register to add to give the Solis an even more refined look. The result is a unique full faced 5 spoke with sexy curves and enough class to be on 5th ave.

We carefully select the names of all our wheels. With this wheel being a Hybrid, the goal was to come up with a unique combination of the two parent names. With term Stella meaning “star” and one of the definitions for the Grassor being “to Gravitate”, we instantly thought of the sun. The term for that in Latin is “Solis.”
